Syllabus: | Guided independent study of a particular topic presented either as a literature review directed towards an agricultural problem or as a minor research project. All projects require study of the relevant literature. Some topics will require knowledge of experimental design, survey techniques and statistical analysis of results. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon completion of this unit students will be able to- Demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical aspects and conceptual basis of basic research techniques including literature review, research design and analysis. Demonstrate an understanding of the appropriate application of various research design techniques and be able to apply them in data analysis of scientific and agribusiness management problems. Present a research report of appropriate academic merit. |
