Clinical examination, parasitism, sheep parasitology, role of the government veterinarian, animal behaviour/welfare, beef cattle health and production, sheep health and production, pig health and production, dairy cattle and equine health and production, farm chemicals and animal health, new products in animal health. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- The knowledge to explain the principles of selecting a therapeutic drug for animal treatment. Described the factors that caused animal disease. Explained the physiology of immunology. Described the common Zoonoses that affected human health. Described how parasitism may be controlled and explained the influence of animal behaviour/welfare on animal production. |
