Syllabus:

An introduction to the foundation science principles of physical science, chemistry and physiology/anatomy, with a focus on application to the key principles of hazard identification and control.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - A basic understanding of the fundamental principles of physical, chemical and biological science and facilitate application of these principles to occupational health and safety.

Any general Human Biology Textbook text contains sufficient information for the purposes of this module.
