Syllabus:

Comprehensive study of life situations which are stress producing for children, such as hospitalisation, divorce, adoption and child abuse. Lectures will cover behavioural signs of stress in children, the effects of child abuse and management of children suffering from deprivation and abuse.
 

Unit Assessment Breakdown:

Assignment I 10%, Assignment II 20%, Assignment III 40%, Examination 30%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
