Syllabus: | Focuses on an introductory understanding of the design process and practice, which can be applied to any of the design specialisms, or endeavors where design is an integral part of their practice. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Applied a generic model or the design process to problem solving. Understood the critical issues that impact on design solution, such as inclusivity, the context, culture and human factors in design. Developed consistent and quality design process, practice, innovation, communication skills, and the presentation of ideas and concepts. |
