Syllabus: | Introduction to medium scale building construction - internal partition and ceiling systems, advanced glazing and cladding systems, working drawings. Undertaking of exercises concerned with the analysis of constructed medium scale architectural projects, access related building construction sites and field trips. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Developed knowledge of issues relating to the construction, structure and materials of medium-scaled architectural buildings. Knowledge of some advanced and alternative constructional systems andtechniques. An understanding of the relationship between building technology and architectural design. |
