Syllabus: | Formal coursework unit requiring participation in weekly seminars. Student led seminar series will be the forum to critically review progress of individual and peer design project research and development. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon completion of this unit, students will have - Demonstrated the ability to propose and develop innovative design solutions to design problems and the ability to critically evaluate own and other's design work. Gained the ability to engage in professional reflective practice and to have articulated the process to peers within the seminar environment. Demonstrated a high order of design knowledge, skill and professional practice through documentation and discussion of the development process of the design project. Demonstrated an understanding of design methodologies and an appropriate understanding of their use. Articulated understanding through appropriate use of verbal and visual means of presentation in the seminar sessions and critical review. |
