Syllabus: | During the vacation periods of the degree, students are required to gain a minimum total of ten weeks work experience with either mining or mineral exploration companies. At the end of each vacation, a short report in diary form is to be prepared on the work undertaken and in the sixth semester combined report of approx 5,000 words on all vacation work previously undertaken must be submitted. |
