Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - An understanding of information systems and information technology. A knowledge base in the Business Disciplines. Integrative thinking. Implemented management Concepts. Reflective thinking. Managed different perspectives. Information and technology literacy. Gained a fundamental understanding of the management and organisational issues associated with the introduction and utilisation of information systems and technology in organisations, and ofthe information management functions. Understood the dynamics of Information Systems and its interactions with the organisation and its environment. Understood a management role when undertaking information systems planning, identifying management information needs and identifying potentially beneficial strategic and other information systems. |
