Syllabus: | Appropriate aims and purposes. Learning experiences to fit those aims. Organising and structuring of these experiences. Media and strategies which might be used. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the experiences. Each will be examined in relation to the needs of pupils with different abilities, backgrounds, interests and enthusiasms. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have- Become familiar with the content of the upper school curriculum as specified in the Curriculum Council Syllabus Manual for Technology and Enterprise Book 1, 2002-2003. Become familiar with the content of the upper school Business and Clerical Vocational Subjects as specified in the Curriculum Council Syllabus Manual for Vocational Subjects, 2002-2003. Become familiar with assessment, grading and moderation procedures as laid down by the CurriculumCouncil. Become familiar with the assessment, grading, examination, certification and reporting requirements for upper school subjects, including TES (Tertiary Enterance Subjects). Developed an understanding of requirement for Secondary Graduation. Developed programs and assessment items for selected upper school subjects. Continued with the development of teaching and learning strategies specifically for outcomes education. Continued with the development of appropriate classroom management techniques. Continued to develop an understanding of the Curriculum Framework and the Student Outcome Statements for the Technology and Enterprise learning Area. |
