Syllabus:

Compensation, reward and equity. Facets of wages and salary administration, installing a salary and wage system, techniques of job evaluation and relating these techniques to wages and to sex discrimination. Employee benefits for managers, executives and non managerial staff. Planning and administering policy. International compensation systems. Performance Management.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On completion of this unit students will have gained - An understanding of the theories involved in the compensation process. An understanding of the processes involved in designing a remuneration and rewards system. Information required to analyse the different processes involved in various compensation strategies.
