Syllabus:

Electrokinetics, surface adsorption, mineral-bubble interactions, flotation - theory and practice, sulphides, non-sulphides, coal, agglomeration. Rheological properties of slurries.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have- An appreciation for the scope of mineral processing operations. A theoretical background for some separation processes
