Syllabus: | Embryogenesis. Maternal and foetal physiology. Dysmorphogenesis. Maternal drug consumption. Maternal alcohol and caffeine consumption, smoking and disease. Maternal drug consumption, clinical significance of drugs in breast milk. Infant nutrition. Management of common diseases in infants, children and adolescents. Drugs and the young. Required to undertake 60 hours of practical training in an appropriate environment. |
