Syllabus:

Sampling and sample preparation. Separation techniques. The application of instrumental techniques. Radioimmunoassay, EMIT and related techniques. Sources of error. Therapeutic significance of results. Design of simple analytical procedures.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed a knowledge of analytical methods applied to therapeutic agents in plasma/serum and urine. Demonstrated the ability to interpret appropriateness of methods for specific applications.
