Syllabus: | Develops and builds upon skills introduced in Communication Studies 011 with a focus on report writing, evaluation skills, oral presentation and debate. Reading, writing, speaking and listening exercises are provided to improve communication skills and develop the confidence required to communicate effectively. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Written and read, spoken and listened effectively in a range of different social contexts. Given effective verbal presentations. Possessed the basic communication skills required for tertiary study - particularly the ability read academic texts and write competent reports. |
