Syllabus:

Job analysis, job evaluation, performance-related pay, salary administration, salary surveys, remmuneration systems, the role of equity and international pay systems.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Become introduced to the purposes, uses, range and scope of pay system. Explained the most widely used techniques of wage and salary design and administration. Examined the areas of work design, work assessment, performance appraisal and job evaluation.
