Syllabus: | Topics in algebra - factorisation, indices, logarithms, surds, solving equations. Functions and their graphical interpretation - domain, range, linear, quadratic and exponential functions, simultaneous equations. Sequences and series - arithmetic and geometric sequences and series. Growth and decay - applications, simple and compound interest, annuities. Set theory - union, intersection, subsets, elements of sets, number of elements, Venn diagrams. Numeration systems - decimal and binary number systems. |
