Syllabus: | Developing and understanding the history and fundamentals of typographic design. Through a series of lectures, projects and exercises students will explore the basic principles of typographic design by manipulating fonts, grids, hierarchy, spatial relationships, readability and legibility. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Developed an understanding of the visual processes involved in Design. Able to render objects using a variety of techniques and materials. Developed a sense of time management with regards to the design visual process. |
