Syllabus: | The project will be either research-based, depending on the interest of the student. A research - based project is to be written up in the form of an academic dissertation. A practice-based project is to be written up as a report, and undertaken in an approved field setting. The project is to be determined by the student in consultation with staff, and must be approved be the Head, Centre of Human Rights Education. International students may choose to undertake the project in their home country. This is a supervised preparation for a major project, and will involve supervision of staff and occasional seminars. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit - Students will have completed either a research project or will have undertaken a field placement. The student will also complete a written report on the project, which will be appropriate in format to the nature of the project. In undertaking the project it is expected that student will have demonstrated the ability to put into practice the principles studied throughout the course. |
