Syllabus:

Introduction to computers. Operating system concepts. Word processing. Spreadsheets. Databases. Graphics and integration of business package features. Data communications.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will - Be confident with basic PC and keyboard skills. Have developed skills using word processor, spreadsheet, database and graphics software. Have an overview of data communications.
