Other Requisite(s):

Substantial completion: Bachelor of Arts(Honours) (Design related) or a minimum of 5 years professional experience in a design related filed. Graduate Certificate in a design related field.

Syllabus:

You will negotiate a timetable for your studies with your Academic Supervisor and the Program coordinator. Any syllabus content will be on the advice of the Academic Supervisor or chosen by you. You will be expected to meet regularly, by prior arrangement, with your Academic Supervisor and also consult subject experts or design professionals as appropriate.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, students will have - Demonstrated that you can propose and develop innovative design solutions to design problems. Demonstrated your ability to critically evaluate design work. Demonstrated your ability to engage inprofessional reflective practice and to articulate the process to your supervisor. Demonstrated your design knowledge, skill and professional practice through documenting and discussing the development process of your design Project. Demonstrate your understanding of design methodologies and an appropriate understanding of their use. To articulate your understanding through a variety of means, making appropriate use of verbal and visual means of presentation in the seminar sessions and within the critical review. Demonstrate your understanding of the design development process by proposing the framework and trajectory for completing your Honours Design Project and Honours Design Project.
