Syllabus: | Project work relating to several aspects of nutrition and dietetics, including evaluation of current topics within the literature for both written presentation and oral presentation to peers, dietetic research, and site visits for specialised aspects of dietetic care. Case study presentation. Community project work. |

Unit Outcomes: | Upon successful completion of this unit students will have - Presented a critical evaluation of the current literature in designated areas of dietetics in both written and oral form. Developed clinical reasoning skills with a case study presentation. Written a job submission for a community position. Demonstrated an understanding of the practical issues associated with conducting community-based dietetic research. Designed, implemented and evaluated a community-based dietetic project. |
