Syllabus:

Processes controlling evolution of the Australian landscape - plate movements, climate history, weathering history. Regolith-landform evolution. Land degradation - agriculture, mineral exploration, salinity, surface hydrology and groundwater, soil degradation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Upon completion of this unit students will have - Gained an understanding of landscape evolution, degradation and its implications for the Australian continent.
