Syllabus:

Contemporary issues facing accountants - both in the Public and Private Sectors including - accountability, social responsibility accounting and the emerging field of corporate governance.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Familiarity with emerging issues facing accountants in the modern workplace. An understanding of financial accounting areas. An appreciation of the legal requirements of accounting evidence in legal proceedings.
