Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will have - Analysed the philosophy and principles of primary health care and its application to nursing practice. Critically analysed factors that influence the effectiveness of primary health care programs. Applied the principles of action research and epidemiological methods to community health care provision. Conducted, documented and analysed a comprehensive community assessment. Developed a primary health care program based on identified community needs. |
