Syllabus: | Decision-making, group behaviour, leadership, organisational change and development. Cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting. Preparation of business plans. Contract administration and management. Human resource management, company organisation and management structures. Project management, planning and control - project life cycles, selection criteria, scope management, work breakdown structure, scheduling techniques, resource and cost control, PERT and Gantt charges, critical path analysis, validation and computerised systems. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit, students will be familiar with managerial concepts, accounting and project management. They will have an understanding of leadership, organisational structures, design and cultures. |
