Syllabus: | Fundamental concepts of mechanics -dynamics and kinematics, and wave theory. |
|
Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have developed - an understanding of the concepts and principles of mechanics and wave theory. Apply the principles of mechanics and wave theory in solving problems in the laboratory and daily life. Do quantitative and qualitative analysis of experimental results. Carry out laboratory experiments and present written lab reports in collaboration with peers. Apply critical thinking, time management and team work in groups. Integrate understanding of the relationship between theory, laws, definitions and mathematical formulae. |
