Syllabus:

Principles of object orientation, object-oriented software engineering, object-oriented modelling, analysis and design, study of example object-oriented programming languages and application development.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit, the student should be able to design object oriented software models, express a software design in the Unified Modelling Language, understand the Rational Unified Process, use an object oriented CASE tool (Rational Rose 2000).
