Syllabus:

Complements research studies in the Centre for Regional Education Science Honours Course. Students attend seminars presented by speakers involved in related scientific research. A formal report of material covered will be presented in dossier format. Seminar presentation of research carried out in the Science Honours Dissertation 401.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Demonstrated an awareness of seminar protocol. Participated in seminar presentations. Recorded and summarised seminars in the required format. Planned and prepared a seminar based on research activities. Presented the seminar in an effective manner with appropriate visual aids.
