Syllabus:

Investigation of the discipline of modelling and simulation for replicating real world systems or phenomena using modelling approaches and simulation environments for analysis, training, and gaming applications. Selected topics include - modelling and simulation principles, model engineering, experimental design, system analysis and reduction, and simulation study design and analysis.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Upon completion the student will be able to apply modelling and simulation principles and techniques to represent and solve real world problems.
