Syllabus:

Curriculum philosophy, curriculum design and conceptual framework. Horizontal and vertical integration. Needs analysis, stakeholder surveys and curriculum evaluation.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Selected appropriate teaching strategies for different learning contexts within nursing. Outlined the process of curriculum design and development. Conceptualised the integration of horizontal and veritical threads of a curriculum. Developed a conceptual model for a proposed nursing educational program. Critically reviewed educational research for curriculum design.
