Syllabus:

Reviews performance management methods and the benefits to the organisation and the individual. Topics include mentoring, feedback for improved performance, networking, documentation and critical incidents communication and professional relationships. Students will review current organisational performance management methods and develop criteria for their own performance.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Identified current performance management structures used within their organisation. Reviewed current literature surrounding performance management methods. Identified ways of networking with allied health professionals. Identified current performance management structure used within their organisation. Described channels of communication within their organisation. Developed a job description and performance management criteria for their current position.
