Syllabus:

A formal learning contract is negotiated between the student and a nominated supervisor in the first two weeks of the semester. This includes the specific tasks and timeframe required to meet the unit outcomes.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will, together with their tutor, have- Designed a small study project in an area of international health. As examples, this might entail critically reviewing the relevant literature, reviewing existing policies and agreements, implementing a small pilot project, preparing an article for publication and preparing and presenting at an international conference.
