Syllabus: | The planning, execution and reporting of a suitable applied research project, related to the advanced coursework undertaken by the student. The work to be presented as a dissertation, in the same format as required for theses under University regulations. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will - Have demonstrated the ability to plan, execute and report on a substantial research investigation at a publishable level. Have demonstrated originality of thought and the ability to critically evaluate research literature. Have demonstrated the ability to undertake independent research. |
