Syllabus:

Principles and applications of medical imaging modalities - radiography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Principles and applications of laser, ultraviolet and infrared in medicine.
 

Unit Outcomes:

To provide the medical engineer with a thorough knowledge of the various imaging methods that can be used in medicine.
