Syllabus:

A practical understanding of corporate financial management as well as portfolio management. Covers financial mathematics, investment decisions, financing decisions, introduction to portfolio theory, the capital asset pricing model (CAPM) and risk management.
 

Unit Outcomes:

Understanding Australian capital markets. Evaluation of investment decisions. Measuring cost of capital. Understanding portfolio theory. Introduction to capital asset pricing model. Introduction to options and futures.
