Syllabus: | Historical perspective, functions and basic concepts of Computer Operating (OS) systems, Real-time OS issues for different applications, Introduction to Virtual Machines, Understanding of the role of Kernels, micro-code, and real-time systems, Introduction to MS 2000, Linux, Unix systems. |
