Unit Assessment Breakdown:

A minimum of 50% in final exam is required to pass the course. The examination component of this unit is worth 60% and the continuous assessment component is worth 40%. Students must pass the examination component as well as having an overall pass in all semester assignments. A failure mark in either component will result in the grade for that unit being recorded as a fail. The unit will be assessed as follows - Fortnightly Assignments 30%, Mid-Term Examination 15%, Quizzes/Class Discussions 5%, Final Examination 50%. This is by grade/mark assessment.
