Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Discuss individual perceptions and beliefs concerning quality of life. Assess a client's coping mechanisms and plan appropriate individualised care using a problem solving process and adopting a wellness focus. Effectively work within a multidisciplinary team. Apply the principles of therapeutic communication to clients in the rehabilitation setting. Apply the concept of planned change to initiate, coordinate and evaluate client's care. Locate specific hospital and community resources for a client in a rehabilitation setting. Assess, plan, teach and evaluate client using principles of adult learning. |
