Syllabus: | Practical laboratory and field work in hydrogeology and engineering geology--aquifer testing, treatment of borehole data, pollution monitoring and groundwater quality assesment. Mechanical properties of rocks and soils, foundation evaluation and engineering geology environmental case studies. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - A sound understanding of field and analytical aspects of groundwater resources. |
