Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit students will be able to - Explain the importance of environmental health issues within the broader public health field. Describe the background of environmental health and the changing scope of its concerns. Explain how disturbances to the major environmental compartments can produce health impacts. Explain the value of processes such as environmental health impact assessment in predicting, evaluating and managing potential impacts. |
