Syllabus: | The study of urban redevelopment, form and contemporary society, landscapes and streetscapes. Further case study analysis and project design work. The production of design interventions in situations of significant complexity. Economic, environmental and social sustainability in practice. Practical design skills. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have skills of analysis of urban contexts of great complexity. Developed a design vocabulary to enable the formation and development of successful urban places. Design skills specifically required forthe shaping of the public realm and the 'in between realm'. An understanding of how to progress to sustainability in an urban context. |
