Syllabus: | Introduction to two and three dimensional approaches to studio practice and fashion and textile techniques. Emphasis is placed on an experimental approach to the development of processes in response to set project work and ideas. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have- Been introduced to two and three dimensional approaches to studio practice and fashion and textiles techniques. An understanding of fundamental aesthetic and technical issues that impact on the field of fashion design in a contemporary market. Been introduced to the notion of innovation in preference to conventional assumptions and thinking. Appropriate research skills. |
