Syllabus: | An understanding of and ability to research and write scripts for film or television productions which are client orientated and generally serve a promotional, educational, training or corporate communication function. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Developed the ability to take a pro-active brief from a client. Extended their ability to conduct adequate research of a topic or area. Practiced the skill of creatively conceptualising an approach to a number of topics. Become familiar with the major approaches and types of Corporate Documentary, program making fundamentals and genre. Understood the elements of corporate script writing, and be able to apply this critically to the work of other writers. Students will become more capable in the key skills of - Analysing of content and Client need and Visual writing. |
