Syllabus: | Exploration of the areas of writing material for communicating via an interactive screen environment, enabling students to develop skills in both instructional and narrative forms. Multimedia and corporate industries. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have demonstrated a basic knowledge of the history of interactive media and hypermedia principles. An understanding of the concept of how an audience may interact with a meta-linear story both fictional and non-fictional, an understanding of command modes of interactivity, and "lean forward/lean back" interaction theory. An ability to apply interactivity to linear stories fictional and non-fictional. An understanding of the future directions of interactive media. The convergence of media forms , DVD, games and Television. An ability to use interactive technology in the writing process. How to script write for interactive media. An ability to use HTML/Interactive technology to develop and present a script idea. |
