Syllabus:

Faciliate participatory inquiry, learning and education in Aboriginal settings using culturally appropriate methods and processes. Provide background information about local issues to engage community members in learning and development processes. Develop, integrate and apply conceptual frameworks and skills related to learning about local issues in community settings.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- Identified appropriate strategies to include relevant stakeholders in evaluation process and outcomes. Described features of the broader historical and sociopolitical context and immediate organisational context relevant to an evaluation project. Described the rationale and strategies for involving the critical reference group in an evaluation project. Developed a set of principles which guide participatory evaluation projects in an Indigenous context. Justified the purpose, scope and approach of an evaluation project to relevant audiences.
