Syllabus: | Usability is critical to the successful development of effective websites. Introduction to usability, user-centred design, usability design, designing for scanning, wise use of copy, effective navigation design, usability testing techniques, usability testing analysis, designing more usable web sites, designing for accessibility for disabled users, international considerations, usability tools. |

Unit Outcomes: | On successful completion of this unit, students will have understood usability issues involved in designing online content. With usability issues in mind, analysed the intended audience, objectives, and expected outcomes for a successful web site design.Designed a suitable World Wide Web site sensitive to usability issues. |
