Syllabus: | Matrix operations and inverses. Systems of linear equations. Vectors, dot and cross products. Equations of lines and planes. Vector spaces and subspaces. Complex numbers. De Moivre's theorem. Ordinary differential equations-first and second order (constant coefficients). Euler and Runge Kutta methods. |

Unit Outcomes: | On completion of this unit students will have - Understood the fundamental principles of linear algebra, complex numbers and differential equations as they apply to engineering. |
