Syllabus:

Infection control and the law. International and national infection control guidelines. Influencing behaviour and organisational issues. Techniques for the dissemination of infection control principles and guidelines. Education of other health care workers in infection control.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have - Become cognisant of the national and international infection control guidelines. Demonstrated the ability to practice according to the national and international standards. Demonstrated the ability to act consistently in upholding national and international standards when educating health care workers in infection control.
