Syllabus:

The application of hygienic principles, hand washing, aseptic techniques, sterilisation, disinfection, immunisation and antimicrobials to the control of infections.
 

Unit Outcomes:

On successful completion of this unit students will have- An understanding of how infections can be controlled.
